With the first few of my girl friends abandoning the sistahood for marriage (some for grimmer fates than others), I have to wonder: Is a housewife any different than a well-fed prostitute with a wealth contingent severance package?

Nearly 600 US military personnel have died since the war began just over a year ago (437 since May 1st "Mission Accomplished"). What's striking in reading through the death chronology is how many of these deaths are accidental giving credence to claims of inadequate training. [link]

On any given night in this city there are so many shows plays parties clubs pubs openings tastings dinners soirees films galleries museums comrades carousals fixes and parades I scarcely find the time to go home. Off to a festival in Williamsburg, so I must regretfully bid the cyber world adieu.
